This range of large crates are similar to the Chooch models but not as heavy. If you are wanting to make your flat cars and loads the correct weight in accordance to NMRA standards, you will be able to do so with this new range of crates. These are the ones you want.

Are Your 3D-Printed Models Ready for Painting?
Yes! Most ScaleRail3D printed models are ready to paint right out of the box. However, like most plastic models, some may need a light sanding or sprue removal for the best finish.
What Paint Works Best on Your Models?
I’ve used a variety of paints for the ScaleRail3D models. I would recommend using acrylics, and an airbrush gives the best results. Some of my favorite paints include Vallejo, Citadel, Tamiya.
